ABOUT
“Every child is a story yet to be told, and in their struggles, lies the strength to shape a beautiful ending.”
Kiddos Mental Health was created to support children who experience the world with intensity — and the parents who are working hard to understand and support them.
Many families come to therapy after months or years of trying to “figure things out.” They may have received mixed messages from schools, professionals, or extended family. They often carry a quiet worry about their child’s future while also deeply recognizing their child’s goodness and potential.
This practice is grounded in the belief that children’s struggles make more sense when we understand development, brain functioning, emotional regulation, and environmental fit. When we shift from viewing behaviors as problems to viewing them as communication, new possibilities for growth emerge.
The work here focuses on helping children feel more capable in their daily lives while protecting their sense of identity. Therapy is not about making a child less themselves. It is about helping them build the skills and internal stability needed to thrive.
Support for parents is an essential part of this process. Parenting a high-energy or emotionally complex child can be deeply meaningful but also exhausting. Thoughtful guidance can reduce conflict, increase connection, and create a more sustainable family rhythm.
Kiddos Mental Health is a fully virtual private practice. This model allows therapy to be integrated into real-life environments and supports greater consistency for families.
Families are met with calm, thoughtful, evidence-informed care. The goal is not quick fixes, but meaningful and lasting developmental support.
KIDDOS Mental Health is an ally for all people, with all diagnosis, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender, etc.
If you’ve been searching for someone who understands your child beyond labels or surface behavior, this may be the right next step.
